Fire Marshals Training

Updated: Sep 14, 2022

In the post pandemic world, more employers are turning to hybrid and flexible working hours. While this has been great for the employee work life balance, it may have left your business vulnerable.

Are you confident that there is a sufficient number of trained fire marshals on the premises to deal with any emergency evacuations?

Fire marshals are responsible for ensuring that the building is evacuated in a safe and timely manner and the people are directed to the designated assembly point. They will also liaise with the fire brigade upon their arrival and be able to provide relevant information relating to the property.

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, you are obligated to nominate a number of competent persons to implement you fire evacution plan.

A competent person is defined as someone who has sufficient training and experience.

It is an offence for the responsible person to fail to comply with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order.

The main outcome of the Fire Marshal E-Learning is to provide your employees with the knowledge to carry out the functions of a Fire Marshal. Please note, this course also contains all of the content in the Basic Fire Awareness and Fire Extinguisher courses.

It is a cost-effective way for employers to fulfil their legal obligation to provide their employees with the necessary understanding of fire awareness. Candidates can progress through the modules at their own pace and in their own time to fit the training in around their work and personal life.

Our Fire Marshal E-Learning training is approved by CPD, Gatehouse Awards, Institute of Hospitality & IIRSM
